The candidates may note that the application window for the same will remain open till 5 March 2025. This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 53 posts. The selection process will involve a written examination, a counseling round, and document verification. Those who successfully clear all stages will be appointed for the post.

Bihar BTSC Recruitment 2025: Exam pattern
The duration of the examination will be two hours, with a total of 100 marks. The exam will contain questions up to the Intermediate (Science) level, including 50 questions related to Biology. The question paper will be available in both Hindi and English languages.
The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts through a Computer-Based Test (CBT), and due to the examination being held in more than one shift, the results will be prepared using the normalization process.
Selection Process
The examination will be held in multiple shifts. Negative markings will be applied for incorrect answers. Candidates will receive 1 mark for each correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The results will be declared based on the normalization process, and a merit list will be prepared based on the normalized scores.

General category candidates: 40%
Backward class candidates: 36.5%
Extremely backward class candidates: 34%
Scheduled caste/Scheduled tribe and female candidates: 32%

Candidates of female Candidates of Reserved/Unreserved Category (Permanent Resident of Bihar State) have to pay Rs 150 as the application fee. Candidates from outside the State, irrespective of their category whether they are Male/Female have to pay Rs 600 as the application fee.
