The candidates may note that the application window for the same will be opened on 21 February 2025 and will conclude on 13 March 2025. This recruitment drive will fill out a total of 1746 posts, out of which 1261 posts are for constables in the District Police Cadre and 485 posts for Constables in the Armed Police Cadre.
To apply for the same, the candidates must meet the maximum height requirements:
Male candidates: 5 feet 7 inches (170.2 cm)
Female candidates: 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm)
Punjab Police Recruitment 2025: Application fees
Candidates of the general category have to pay Rs 1200 as the application fee. Candidates of Ex-Servicemen(ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM have to pay Rs 500.
Also, SC/ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only candidates have to pay Rs 700 and EWS candidates have to pay Rs 500 as the application fees.
To participate in this recruitment drive, the age of the candidate must lie between 18 to 28 years. However. age relaxation will be provided as per the government rules.
Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or university. Ex-servicemen need at least matriculation. Additionally, candidates must have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a subject or an equivalent qualification approved by the Punjab government.
