APPOINTMENT OF VICE-CHANCELLOR-TAMIL UNIVERSITY, THANJAVUR
SEARCH COMMITTEE NOTIFICATION
The Govenment of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.Rt. No. 174,Tamil Development and Information Department, dated 27.07.2021, has constituted a Search Committee, consisting of the following persons, to recommend a panel of three persons, to the Chancellor, for appointment of Vice-Chancellor, Tamil University, Thanjavur.
1Justice Tmt. Prabha, Sridevan Chancellor Nominee
2 Dr.M. Rajendran Government Nominee
3 Dr.V. Jayadevan Senate Nominee
4 Dr.M. Selvam Syndicate Nominee
5 Dr.T. Padmanaban Syndicate Nominee
The Search Committee invites applications for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Tamil University from distinguished academicians with highest level of competence, integrity, morals and institutional commitment and possessing the necessary educational qualifications and work experience, as notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu in its G.0. Ms.No.51,Tamil Development and Information Department, dated 12.03.2018.
The Vice-Chancellor shall hold office for a period of three years, or till the attainment of 70 years of age, whichever is earlier.
Interested candidates, possessing the requisite qualifications and experience, may apply in the prescribed application form, which can be downloaded from www.tamiluniversity.ac.in. The application duly filled shall be sent by e-mail/ registered post duly super scribing the Envelope “Application for the post of Vice-Chancellor, Tamil University’, so as to reach the following address, on or before 05.00 p.m. on 07.10.2021. will not be considered
