The application process for West Bengal State Eligibility Test (WB SET) 2021 is to conclude today, on September 15, at 12 Midnight. The candidates who wish to apply for the post of Assistant Professor can fill the online application through the official website – wbcsconline.in.

The West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) started the online application process for WB SET 2021 on August 16, 2021. Applications were invited from the aspiring candidates for the 23rd State Eligibility Test for the posts of Assistant Professor in West Bengal only. The eligibility examination will be held for 33 subjects on January 9, 2022. The Commission will conduct the exam at the selected test centres of different districts of West Bengal. All eligible and interested candidates are advised to go through the detailed notification, important dates, eligibility criteria and other relevant details before filling up the online application.

WB SET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

For General/ EWS category – Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from Universities/Institutions.
For OBC/ SC/ ST/ persons with disability(PWD)/ Transgender category – Candidates who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination from Universities/ Institutions.

WB SET 2021 – How to Apply?

Step 1 – Visit the WBCSCs official website at wbcsconline.in.
Step 2 – Click on the link that reads, “Apply for STATE ELIGIBILITY TEST (AVDT. NO. 23/SET)…”, available on the homepage.
Step 3 – Feed in the required details and cross-check them before submission.
Step 4 –  Now upload the necessary documents and proceed to pay the application fee online.
Step 5 – Submit the application form and save the confirmation page for future use.
