UPSC CSE DAF 1 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Detailed Application Form (DAF I) for the Civil Services Mains Examination 2024 today, 4 July. 

Candidates who have cleared the UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 can register for the mains examination on the official websites at upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in, DAF I is issued for candidates selected in the UPSC Prelims.

UPSC DAF 1 2024: Registration deadline

• The Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024 is tentatively scheduled to commence from September 20, 2024.
• Approximately 1056 vacancies are expected to be filled through the Civil Services Examination 2024.
• Candidates can register for the Main Examination until 6:00 PM on July 12, 2024.
• According to the notification, the result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 was declared on July 1, 2024.

• As per the examination rules, all these candidates must reapply in Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination 2024, available on the Union Public Service Commission’s website at upsconline.nic.in, from 3 July, 2024, to 12 July, 2024, till 6 PM.

UPSC CSE DAF 2024: Next phase details 

• To register for the next phase, it is essential to fill UPSC DAF 1 correctly before the deadline.
• UPSC Mains DAF 2024 requires personal, educational, parental, and work experience details.
• Candidates selected for the UPSC Mains phase are invited to fill out the second part of this form, known as DAF II.
